Is Jyoti an AI?
No. Jyoti is a guided chat. Every answer is calculated from your birth chart (Lahiri ayanamsa, real planetary positions) and phrased from fixed classical rules, so the same birth details always give the same reading. For questions it cannot answer, Jyoti suggests a human astrologer.
Why do I need to verify my mobile number?
Jyoti saves your chat and birth details to your Jyotishvanii account — the same account as the app. When you talk to an astrologer, they can start from your reading instead of asking everything again. Verification is a one-time SMS code; we never share your number.
How does Jyoti read marriage or career timing?
It finds the lord of the relevant house (the 7th for marriage, the 10th for career, the 2nd and 11th for money) and checks your Vimshottari dasha for the next period ruled by that lord or by planets in that house. Astrologers combine this with transits and the Navamsa chart to name a year.
Is it really free?
Yes, Jyoti is free — you only verify your mobile number once. If you want to talk to an astrologer about your reading, that happens in the Jyotishvanii app, billed per minute from your wallet.
