What makes a kundli Manglik?
Mars (Mangal) in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house. This checker counts those houses from the Lagna, from the Moon and from Venus: Mars in one of them from one point is usually called mild, from two or more strong.
Can Mangal dosha be cancelled?
Tradition lists several cancellations (parihara). This tool checks three that can be read mechanically from the chart: Mars in its own sign (Aries or Scorpio), Mars exalted in Capricorn, and Jupiter in a kendra from Mars. Others, like matching with another Manglik chart, need an astrologer’s judgement.
Do I need my birth time for a Manglik check?
For the Lagna check, yes — the Lagna changes every couple of hours. The checks from the Moon and Venus work from the date and place alone.
