So Guru's Simha transit comes in two parts: 31 October 2026 to 25 January 2027, and 26 June 2027 to 26 November 2027. In between, Jupiter is back in exalted Karka for five months.

Kumbha (Aquarius) — 7th house. Marriage, partnerships and contracts. A classic period for weddings and new business partners.
Meena (Pisces) — 6th house. Work, service, health routines and competition. Debts and disputes need careful handling. Jupiter is your Moon-sign lord, which softens the placement.
Vedha: why a good transit can go quiet
The classical texts add a check called vedha (obstruction). For each favourable house there is a paired house; if another graha (other than the Moon) is transiting that paired house, the good result is blocked. For Jupiter the pairs are 2–12, 5–4, 7–3, 9–10 and 11–8.
For example, a Mesha Moon has Jupiter in the 5th; a graha transiting Karka, the 4th from Mesha, at the same time would obstruct it. Traditions differ on whether Rahu and Ketu count for vedha, which is one more reason to have a reading done on your own chart.
Remedies for a difficult Guru transit
- Thursday fasting or a simple yellow-food meal on Thursdays.
- Recite Om Brim Brihaspataye Namah or the Guru Stotra.
